dog friendly stylish apartment
welcome
Welcome to Alpine Cottages Reeth; an attractive contemporay 150 year old first floor stone apartment, sleeps 4/5, in the heart of the Yorkshires Dales National Park with picturesque views of the heather moors, overlooking Reeth green.
Having holidayed in Reeth for over 20 years we wish to share the experience with you.
Available for holidays and short breaks, Alpine Cottages Reeth is the ideal base for couples, families, walkers and cyclists. Situated halfway on Wainwright’s popular coast to coast footpath, and on the Tour de France Le Grand Depart 2014 cycle route, its easy for you to enjoy the finest scenery the Dales have to offer.
The owner is a keen wild swimmer and has extensive knowledge of local swim spots for all-just ask.
Reeth is a beautiful village with a host of fine places to dine: cafes, 3 pubs, 2 hotels, take-aways, licensed tea room and an ice cream parlour. There is a museum, adventure and bike centre, pottery and craft centre. There is a Post Office, village stores and bakery. The village hosts a Friday market which boasts outstanding freshly caught, reared or picked and plucked local produce.
Historic towns of Harrogate, York, Durham and Whitby are within easy reach, and the Lake District is at the end of the Dale.
The apartment is tastefully furnished in a contemporary style. Relax in the cosy lounge, and keep warm with our wood burner or soak away in the ‘much enjoyed’ roll-top slipper bath. Step outdoors the front door and walk a short distance to the right along the road, (this is the main road through Reeth and can be busy) and then into the drive to our “secret” garden or a game of table tennis in the games room which is all at the back of the property.
One well behaved dog is welcome. Free wifi.
